Ástæða fyrir nafni? Fljótsheiði er held ég í flestum gömlu sveitafélugunum sem síðar urðu að Þingeyjarsveit. Ef mér skjatlast ekki er Tilheyrir Fljótsheiði líka Mývatnsveit.
